Visuwords
I have been looking for something like this for years: a reliable and visually appealing graphical dictionary. I am all about visualizing information and this is a must for like-minded writers, bloggers, teachers, and otherwise uncategorized language enthusiasts. At once a thesaurus and dictionary, Visuwords presents information around a word (synonym, antonym, derivation, related words) in an interface that is both direct and colorful. Like the charts about molecular and subatomic structure in your high school chemistry lab, there is a key provided that explains the relations between nodes. The most brilliant thing about it is that double clicking the nodes expands the cluster further, creating potentially giant semantic webs. Eyes peeled for a 3D version (or other languages!)
